AlphaWallet Guide

The goal of this tutorial is to show users how to use AlphaWallet in order to add, send, and receive POA Network tokens and POA20 tokens.

In order to download and transfer POA and POA20 tokens onto and from your AlphaWallet, you will need to register your wallet. Once that is complete, use the tutorial below to add POA Network and POA20 to your wallet. Make sure to save your backup recovery phrase or JSON file when you create your wallet.

Add POA Network to Alpha Wallet

Step 1 - Once you have created your wallet, click on the Settings button on the bottom-right of your wallet.

Step 2 - Scroll down to the Network option and select it.

Step 3 - Within the Network page, Select on POA Network.

Step 4 - You will be redirected to the Home tab within AlphaWallet. Your POA Network wallet will have been created and will be viewable.

Receive POA Network Tokens

Step 1 - In order to receive POA Network, ensure POA Network is selected in the Network page as shown above. In your Home tab, click on POA Network balance in your wallet

Step 2 - Either copy your POA Network address or allow the user to scan your QR code to receive the POA Network tokens to your wallet.

Step 3 - Once the user sending the POA Network tokens completes the transfers, your wallet will refresh with the updated balance. The transaction can be viewed in the Transaction tab on the bottom toolbar.

Send POA Tokens

Step 1 - In order to send POA Network tokens, click on POA Network balance in your wallet. Click on Send in the following screen.

Step 2 - Either enter the POA Network address or scan the QR code of the wallet you want to transfer the funds to.

Step 3 - Review transaction details and confirm the details by clicking Send.

Step 4 - Once the transfer is completed, your wallet balance will refresh. The transaction can be viewed in the Transaction tab on the bottom toolbar.

Add POA20 to AlphaWallet

Step 1 - In order to add POA20 tokens to your wallet, you will need to switch the Network back to Ethereum. Click on the Settings button on the bottom-right of your wallet.

Step 2 - Scroll down to the Network option and select it.

Step 3 - Within the Network page, Select on Ethereum

Step 4 - On the Home tab, click on the β€˜+’ button on the top-right of the page. You will be redirected to Add Custom Token page.

Step 5 - In the Add Custom Token page, you will need to insert the following information:(Ziggy to confirm if information below is accurate)

Contract Address: 0x6758b7d441a9739b98552b373703d8d3d14f9e62

Symbol: POA20

Decimal: 18

Name: POA ERC20on Foundation

Once all the information has been added, click β€˜Done’

Step 6 - Confirm that POA20 has been successfully added to your wallet. Click on the wallet button on the bottom left to confirm.

Receive POA20 Tokens

Step 1 - In order to receive POA20 tokens, click on POA20 balance in your wallet. Click on Receive in the following screen.

Step 2 - Either copy your POA20 address or allow the user to scan your QR code to receive the funds to your wallet.

Step 3 - Once the transfer is completed, your wallet balance will refresh. The transaction can be viewed in the Transaction tab on the bottom toolbar.

Send POA20 Tokens

Step 1 - In order to send POA20 tokens, click on POA20 balance in your wallet. In the following screen, click on Send.

Step 2 - Either enter the POA20 address or scan the users QR code to send the funds from your wallet.

Step 3 - Review transaction details and confirm the details by clicking Send.

Step 4 - Once the transfer is completed, your wallet balance will refresh. The transaction can be viewed in the Transaction tab on the bottom toolbar.

@ziggy, this is now much easier as we have multi network support in our latest versions. Thank you for publishing though.
