Why create your own bridge?

Hi guys ! Can you tell me more about the benefits behind creating your own bridge and not using the already build one, like OmniBridge ?

Which bridge are you initially referring to?

That was evolution of bridges:

  1. native-to-erc20 (May, 2018)
  2. erc20-to-native (Oct, 2018)
  3. AMB (Jan, 2020)
  4. erc20-to-erc677 on top of AMB (Jan, 2020)
  5. OmniBridge (multi erc20-to-erc677) on top of AMB (Aug, 2020)
  6. NFT OmniBridge on top of AMB (Mar, 2021)

Returning to your question: some projects would like to have a bridge for customized tokens or tokens compatible with other standards (like eip777) – they can use an example of our erc20-to-erc677 extension for AMB as the baseline to modify it for their own needs.

The value you are transferring is not in the bridge limits. Try to specify more like 1 token or 0.1 tokens. (1000000000000000000 or 100000000000000000).

I assume you are talking about extension for AMB rather than a new bridge contracts with their own oracles infrastructure.

Thank you very much for support
