I saw this hinted in some other topic but would love to discuss it further.
So, will there be other chains in the future, for some other popular tokens on the Ethereum blockchain (like xCOMP, xLINK, xETH etc.)?
Or does it make more sense to have one chain for multiple coins? (Why limit yourself to just one?)
No, there is no plan to create new chains for the purpose of bridging native tokens.
The new concept it to bridge tokens from Mainnet via Multi Token Bridge
Oh, so there can be other tokens on the xDai Chain too - I thought it’s only for xDai Maybe you’ll need to rebrand to avoid confusion
Is there any info available for this project - https://blockscout.com/poa/qdai
You can follow this link for more information:
Make sure to check out the “Meeting the Challenge” section in particular.
you can read more about qDai parameters here https://docs.tokenbridge.net/eth-qdai-bridge/about-the-qdai-chain
Thanks for the info … I was able to mess around with the qDai chain and was able to set up a quick contract explorer at http://rss.hm/t/qdai.htm … (My explorer works in Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Chrome seem to be blocking my java scripts)

Is this blockscout explorer no longer working ? - https://blockscout.com/eth/kovan
unfortunately, no. You can use Etherscan https://kovan.etherscan.io/
Thanks for the info on the qDai chain … I set up my message board to run on the qDai network and the one second block times are nice … http://www.topsecretcrypto.com
